Find another car repair option. Kari Toyota provides lousy service, and ridiculously excessive charges. If you look at my reviews, you'll see 99% are very positive because if I have issues, I discuss concerns with a manager. After a lousy experience, thought I'd get some answers and certainly a partial refund by talking with the manager, but not here at Kari Toyota.
Weirdest experience with the desk staff (Brett) and the manager who 1) did not ask or tell me they charge $149 to put my car on the code reader (which had already been done - when I called to make the appointment, I told them which sensor needed to be replaced); 2) did not relay my request to check the source of an oil leak - I even specified where it was in the engine - Brett indicated he had not passed that request onto the mechanic; 3) as I was driving home, the check engine light reappeared so I brought it right back. Brett told me that the only way to fix it was to replace another sensor. The manager wouldn't acknowledge that his front desk guy provided lousy customer service, and expected me to come back to replace another sensor at their wildly inflated prices. Also, just a word to the wise, always ask that they give you the sensor they replaced. These guys may not have even replaced the part.
Bottom line, I was charged $400 to replace a $30 wheel speed sensor.
Want to mention, I have rented vehicles from the sales team at Kari Toyota, and they were fantastic. The cars were clean, well kept and at a decent price. But the repair shop is a just plain rotten.
Stay away from them on used vehicles, I purchased a truck from there about 6 months ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Traded in two to get one newer one and cut my ownership costs down and it has done nothing but cost me more money. I bought a 2018 Nissan Frontier from there and a week after owning it the tail lights went out on it, brought it back and they "fixed it" and I was happy again, the next snowfall a week later the lights stopped working again, brought it back in to have them check the wiring again and the used car sales manager told me they will look at it one more time and after that I'm on my own, I picked it up a week later and a the next time it snowed the lights went out again, I called and told the manager and he said I bought a used vehicle and it was sold "as is". I asked if he would buy the truck back and he said he was not interested in buying it back and that there was no demand for that modal. I have had to get a new wiring harness for the tail lights and trailering harness, new alternator and have the front tire aliened all after owning the truck for 6 months, If I can say anything about Karri Toyota is the sales man I had was wonderful but stay away from there used cars, they don't stand behind what they sell there.

Salesman was nice and friendly. I found a vehicle and went back to pick up my vehicle the following day which was scheduled in order to get the vehicle detailed & new tires put on. I waited an additional 2 hours for the vehicle and was told it was getting detailed and almost done; then I got my keys and was told it was not completed and to come back the following week to be shuttled to/from work to get it completed. It was the time wasted that was the most frustrating part and I ended up detailing it myself. After signing papers I was also told my car starter may not work, but that's how it works buying a used vehicle, I was taken back from that statement. My gas tank was also not filled, when Benna Ford made sure our truck was completely filled before leaving the lot after that purchase. Overall a mediocre experience.
Did not have the vehicle model we wanted available to view. Had to walk in and request from the receptionist to speak to a salesperson after not seeing anyone on the lot or inside. Salesman avoided eye contact and ignored my husband's hand out ready for a handshake. Told us we'd be super far down the list for the vehicle we wanted when we can see Kolar has 10 on the lot.
We were stranded in Superior with my 2019 Jeep Renegade and both the Ashland and Superior dealers didn't have a loaner car for me. Enterprise car rental was already closed. A gentleman suggested I call Kari Toyota and not only did they have a loaner car I could rent but due to our situation they sent a tech over to pick us up. Honestly, this Toyota dealership saved our day. They went above and beyond to help out. Definitely five star service. Thanks again for everything!
We have bought two vehicles from there and it has been a good experience. Our 2nd vehicle I corresponding via email and gave them what I was looking for and price range , they had one before it hits the lot and Allen gave me a price, and we test drove it. There was no pressure or add-on of things. It was straight forward and easy. We have been getting our vehicle serviced there and cannot complain. They have free shuttle that drives me to work then picks me up when it is done. Service price might be a little higher than other places but they stand by there work, usually can get in under a week, and catch any warranty work that needs to be done.
I had a wonderful experience working with Kari Toyota. I found a vehicle we loved and drove it away the following day. A few days afterward, we learned one of our smart fobs had a dead batter, and Kari replaced it free of charge. Excellent service, with a special thanks to Jeff for his support throughout the process.
